Upon completion of the course requirements, the graduate will be able to:

• Practice proper grooming and effective communication skills and workplace etiquette.
• Understand the employer/employee relationship and proper business ethics. 3) Perform basic hands-on skills related to hairstyling, cutting, coloring, bleaching, chemical reformation, shampoo, facials, hair removal, manicures, pedicures and nail enhancements.
• Perform a client consultation to determine what method of treatment best suits the client.
• Appropriately apply the knowledge learned for proper health and safety and disinfection to assure the client’s protection. To ensure future success, students will learn new and marketable skills related to techniques, trends and fashions

The course length is 1000 clock hours, completed during student's junior and senior year.

Students must have principal and cosmetology instructor's approval. Candidates must submit an essay when applying. Please note:There are a limited amount of seats for this course.
